Mt. Hood Summit

One of Oregon’s most iconic landmarks, Mt. Hood attracts climbers from around the world. This towering peak offers a variety of routes, from snow-covered trails to steep rocky pitches. On both the northern and southern faces, you’ll find everything from moderate scrambles to advanced technical climbs, depending on the season.
Reaching the summit means conquering elevations of over 11,000 feet and being rewarded with sweeping views of the Pacific Northwest. Snow can often be found at higher altitudes year-round, so climbers should be well-prepared for cold conditions.
